Jennifer Aube, Professor, Psychology, Psy.D. Program Director

"The mental health needs of children and adolescents in our community are great, yet there is a shortage of psychologists trained in evidence-based practice.  My passion is to prepare and inspire new generations of psychologists to competently, ethically, and compassionately provide psychological services to those in need.  It is a joy to be able to do so at Roberts, where we also integrate the practice of psychology with principles of the Christian faith.”

Cheryl Repass, Professor, Psychology

"Throughout my 14 years as a school psychologist, I witnessed the vital and important role that school psychologists play in our schools.  Although my role as a practitioner has changed, I continue to draw on my background working with youth in crisis counseling, systems consultation, implementing student interventions, providing student level support for students with mental health and special needs, and monitoring student achievement."

Keri Bassett, Associate Professor, Psychology

“As a clinical psychologist, I’ve provided time-limited and long-term individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. Through these experiences, I have seen the tremendous impact individual and group counseling can have on the well-being of clients, and I am heavily invested in helping our graduate students become clinically skilled practitioners.”

Hiie Silmere, Associate Professor, Social Work

"I made my way to Roberts via Estonia, Michigan, and Missouri. One of my key roles is to help students apply research into social work practice. I also love to engage them outside of the classroom through research assistantships, conference presentations, or conversations on a variety of topics. It is a joy to work at Roberts where our small class sizes make it possible to get to know all of our students.”
